That looks a lot like a Ridgeback to me. Its possible they don’t inherit the ridge gene

that looks alot like a rhodesian ridgeback but there is no ridge. ridgebacks were bread to hunt lions , however, no dog could ever fight a lion. my ridgeback likes to chase squirrels.

I think this was in San Diego. Unfortunately, they introduced the cub to two adult lionesses too soon. It did not end well for the cub :( The dog, however, was adopted.

This is very cute. It’s a sad thing when a baby is abandoned. But he seems to be fine, since he really doesn’t know what he is missing. Thanks Les for sharing.
