This is the cutest and most adorable thing ever, I have a Weimaraner and I know how sweet and loving big dogs can be. But those saying they are unpredictable have a point as well. I knew first hand about this horrible case, a two year old baby in the forensics office with his face ripped off. The dog he grew along with, the one he rode like a horse and their parents trust completely, attacked and killed him just a feet away from his mother. So sad and disturbing. And you can't blame the dog, they are animals and can't control their reactions the way we do.

Adorable! Dogs know when something is fragile... such as a baby. These photos made my day :) I'd trust my baby to my dogs any day!

I would leave my kid to the dog rather than to Carl or Ann.

I've never met an unpredictable dog. I have met very sorry pet owners. This dog is healthy, loved and diligently cared for.

I HAVE met plenty of humans who might do something horrible and project their own traits on a creature who would rather protect the little ones than hurt them. Those are the kind of people I don't allow near my dogs and children.

Adeline, just to clear things up, it's okay to consider harmful consequences in life. Go ahead, the bridge isn't too high, take a jump.. We'll give you a Darwin award.

Shut up, Ann. Obviously the baby's guardian was less than two feet away from it and I don't think anyone would have let this happen to their child unless they were absolutely certain he or she was safe. The baby is obviously smiling and happy, it's precious and completely harmless. Go on worrying about every little thing in life, let me know how that turns out for you.
G'day, beautiful photographs.

You know, it looks sweet, but I can't imagine letting this happen. Even the most wonderful dogs in the world can be unpredictable.
